Bear Douglas is a Developer Advocate at Facebook, where she helps developers build compelling social apps using Facebook's APIs and mobile SDKs. She's collaborated with many product teams and startup accelerators to help new companies and apps get users and gain traction. Prashant Sridharan is a Developer Advocate at Facebook, where he helps developers around the world learn how to build great apps using the Facebook platform. Prior to Facebook, Prashant was the Director of Marketing for Amazon Web Services, the chief Product Manager for Microsoft Visual Studio, a product manager at various startups, and a software developer at Sun Microsystems. He is well past the "yucky" phase with Objective C and LOVES to build iOS apps, adores Ruby on Rails, and spends every moment of his free time either snowboarding or training for snowboarding season.

Bradley Gross is the founding partner of the Law Office of Bradley Gross, P.A. Giorgio Natili is an author, educator, community leader, W3C member, and founder of GNStudio, a boutique Rome-based development and design studio specializing in engaging and accessible web and mobile experiences. A strong proponent of agile development practices, Giorgio's areas of expertise include standards-based application development, client-side scripting, gaming, and video streaming. His previous speaking engagements include Adobe Max, 360|Flex, FITC, XP 2010 and 2012 and several community driven conferences.

Caroline, known as the 'connector', has been in the mobile industry since 1995, as a coder, funder, community builder and entrepreneur. Recognizing the importance of mobile developers in the ecosystem, she started WIP in early 2006 to provide them the information, resources and necessary contacts. WIP builds mobile developer communities for clients such as AT&T, BlackBerry, Bluevia/Telefonica, Cisco, GSMA, HTC, Immersion, Neustar, Nokia, Sprint, STC, Verizon and many more. WIP is best known for its WIPJams and Muther! of all hackathon events, App Store Catalog and the Mobile Community Calendar.

Caroline founded the Wireless Innovation Network of BC (WINBC now DIGIBC) in 2001, one of the world’s first regional mobile associations, and spearheaded the development and fundraising of Wavefront, a wireless commercialization centre in Vancouver, and is Past Chair of both organizations. She got her start in mobile in the Telecommunications Industry Group of Anderson Consulting (Accenture). Caroline also worked for a Hong Kong consultancy marketing an industrial park in China. She received her MBA from Dalhousie University and BA from the University of Manitoba. Caroline was named by Fierce Wireless as one of the Top Ten Women in Wireless for 2009. She is a Member of the ICT Advisory Board for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT).

Zach Lanier is a Senior Research Consultant with Accuvant Labs, specializing in network, mobile, and web application security. Zach previously served as Security Researcher with Veracode, Principal Consultant with the Intrepidus Group, Senior Network Security Analyst at Harvard Business School, and Security Assessment Practice Manager at Rapid7. Zach is a co-author of the upcoming "Android Hacker's Handbook".

Reid Carlberg is a Principal Developer Evangelist at salesforce.com where he helps developers succeed on the Salesforce Platform. For the last several years, he has led the Salesforce Labs program that helps internal developers release apps on the AppExchange, and for the last year he has helped launch a system that lets independent developers sell their platform apps to leading enterprises worldwide. A 20 year veteran of the software industry, Reid has written apps for a wide variety of industries on many different platforms. When he’s not on a computer, he enjoys running, building with Lego and pondering the many mysteries of oatmeal.

Greg is a leader in the Boston technology and mobile community and has worked on a wide range of mobile products. He got his start at Microsoft working on Windows XP. Greg founded Raizlabs in 2003 and launched his first app when the app store opened. He has since worked on over 100 apps and has advised the top brands and retailors on their mobile strategy. Michael Griffith is the director of strategy and creative for Bottle Rocket. His philosophy is simple, “All I want to do is work with cool people and build cool stuff.” Brands live in the minds of the beholder and are shaped through interaction. Michael builds brand experiences in the mobile space.

Michael has been designing new media for 20 years but still suffers night terrors spawned from the 16 color VGA palette (1988). His understanding of information architecture, usability, accessibility, and compliance sets him apart from traditional creative directors. When not actively destroying traditional television and print mediums, Michael teaches others how to do it. He has taught both design and development of new media and continues to speak at professional organizations and conferences.

Joe Schwendt is the Chief Solutions Architect at Apperian, where he helps enterprises define their mobile strategy, design and build mobile apps, and champion full application life cycle management. He's collaborated with many Fortune 500 companies to help them build the right apps at the right time and gain steady traction with users. Joe has also been active in the community leading the Boston Mobile App Developers meetup for the last 2 years. Joe has more than 15 years of experience in a wide variety of enterprises, with key focuses on operations, security and mobility. He grew up in Princeton, NJ, received a BS in Computer Engineering at Lehigh University in the late 1990's and currently resides in the Boston area.

Luke Wallace manages all of Android Development at Bottle Rocket Apps. He has led the development on Android apps such as AARP and Top Chef: Judges’ Table, and oversees the development of every Android project. He is a strong proponent of the Android platform, and is an invaluable resource for getting the Android perspective on news and updates from within the industry. Joe Huang is responsible for outbound product management of Oracle's Mobile Application Development Framework (ADF Mobile), which is part of Oracle's Fusion Middleware and Enterprise Application platform. Joe has more than 20 years of experience in the High Technology field, and has been in the enterprise mobile application field in the last 10 years. Joe joined Oracle through the Siebel acquisition in 2006, where he was part of Siebel's platform product management team. Prior to Siebel, Joe was with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), leading various development teams in creating innovative solutions for leading companies of the world. Joe received a MS and BS degree in Industrial Engineering from University of California, Berkeley in the early 1990's, and resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Sonia works in Android team at Google as a Technical Account Manager. Prior to this she has worked on mobile and web domains in Nokia, Motorola, Samsung and a few startups, in various capacities, both technical and business centric. She has worked on Android since 2009 and has a few Android applications in Google Play. She mentors students creating Android applications at Technovation Challenge and also regularly participates in hackathons.

Sidney is eating, sleeping and breathing all things mobile as StackMob's Platform Evangelist. Prior to joining StackMob, Sidney immersed himself in the world of payments as the primary Developer Evangelist at PayPal. He spent the last two years working to build mobile apps and sharing his knowledge with others. These efforts included speaking at Adobe MAX, SenchaCon, HTML5DevConf, Silicon Valley Code Camp, creating two courses, jQuery Mobile for Beginners and Learn Backbone.js + StackMob, for the uDemy.com platform and organizing the Bay Area Mobile meetup.

John Hammink is the lead Quality Engineer for Mozilla's Firefox OS/Boot to Gecko open source operating system for mobile devices. He has enjoyed working as a software quality engineer on start-up projects that eventually gained large-scale adoption as products.

John played a leading role in QA and Hardware Certification for Skype in Tallinn, Estonia as the product moved toward mainstream popularity in 2006. He was also one of the first Quality Engineers on F-Secure data security suite in Helsinki, Finland in the early 2000s.

When not doing engineering work, he travels all over the world, speaks, writes, develops fractal-based art and animation, and performs music.

Sujith is a veteran in mobile technologies and has been in the mobile domain for nearly 14 years. He has been working on Android since 2009, helping Motorola bring their products to life and also creating his own applications in Play Store. In the past, Sujith has worked for Motorola Mobility as a Technical Lead in the Bluetooth domain and for Infosys Technologies as an engineer at their Nortel ODC. He was also a co-founder of three startups, which taught him the value of mixing robust management with excellent technical skills. Currently, he works with Cisco Systems and is a regular at most Bay Area hackathons.

Ted Drake is an experienced front-end engineer, developer evangelist, and accessibility expert. Ted leads the accessibility efforts for Intuit's desktop, web, and mobile products.

Previously, he worked on some of the most viewed web sites on the Yahoo! network and participated in the development of products, platforms, and applications. As part of Yahoo’s Accessibility Lab, he managed mobile accessibility, both HTML5 and iOS.

Josh Michaels is an independent developer and the primary force behind Jetson Creative, a Portland based app studio focused on creating applications from the future. Josh started working on apps for iPhone when the App Store opened, beginning with the highly successful Map My Fitness series of apps launched in summer 2008. To date the company has shipped four apps that have achieved top 10 positions or higher on iPad, iPhone, and Mac and have generated more than 4 million unique installs on iOS devices worldwide.

The companies primary product, Magic Window, offers beautiful and relaxing time lapse scenery on the iPad, iPhone, Mac Desktop, and Apple TV. Chosen as "New and Noteworthy", "What's Hot", and "Staff Favorites" by Apple, the Magic Window series of products has demonstrated how even niche products can achieve great success in the App Store. In addition to Magic Window, Josh also contributes design and product work to a variety of other apps and acts as advisor for several app-centric startups. Josh has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a minor in Library Science.
